Veterinary Medicine, Presidential Politics And Wal-Mart Cantaloupes

Dr. Armaiti May, DVM is a veterinarian in Los Angeles whose award winning activism on behalf of animals has made her an expert witness in many animal cruelty court trials.  She’s involved in one of the highest profile animal rights trials in recent history, involving a woman who offered water to pigs being taken to slaughter.

Our crew of Mark Thompson, J. Elvis Weinstein and Heather Ankeny start with learning about a religion they didn’t know about.  Then, they talk with her about confronting euthanizing a loved pet…How soon is too soon?  How long do you wait?

Dr. May’s activism has led her to create an organization to work for more humane changes within the veterinary profession and their teaching protocol.
